All about me
my bio & qualifications
My name is Rachel Swallow, my fitness journey started when I was 23 years old after I got back from travelling around Australia. I wanted to get fit and noticed I had put on a few pounds. So I joined my local gym, going in with an open mind and slightly nervous. Not sure how I wanted to get fit, so I tried all the gyms classes, starting with indoor spin, pilates, circuits, thighs bums and tums and body pump.
My love of exercise was in Circuit Class, my absolute favourite class by far.
With my fitness levels increasing I began running, this was something I found so hard, but with great determination and grit I stuck with it and its been part of me ever since.
I have run many half marathons raising money for charities, also I taken part in the Hoo Haah 10km running series. Completed many Spartan races, including a Trifecta in a weekend, which is 1 25km obstacle race, 1 10km obstacle race and a 5km race all in one weekend!
“Most of all being outdoors running
with strength training is my happy place”
Now a mum of two children and turning 40 years old this year,
I am happy and proud to say that I have achieved my aim – to work around my family doing what I love doing – Out door Fitness & Bootcamp classes.
